This week I finished my ‘Show, Don’t Tell.’ writing. We had to describe something we saw, heard, felt, tasted and smelt. The reader has to try and guess what I am describing.

Kia ora, my name is Taina. I am a Year 6 student at Ahipara School. I’m in Room 5 and my Kaiako is Whaea Ange. Here is a snapshot of things I like:

Foods – cupcakes, pizza, KFC and McDonalds.

Sports – trampolining.

Animals – dogs and puppies.

TV Shows – Simpsons, Home and Away and Shortland Street.

Game – Tag

Song – We don’t talk about Bruno.

Movie – Enchanto and Bruno

My favourite subject is swimming. One place that I have been that I love is Rainbows End. Two things I am good at are colouring and showing respect.
